Somatic Trauma Therapy in California

Therapy for people who hold it together- at a cost

Virtual therapy for high-functioning adults who feel anxious, depleted, or chronically braced

You may be capable, responsible, and outwardly successful- and still feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unable to rest.

I provide virtual, trauma-informed therapy for adults across California who are ready for deeper nervous-system-level change, not just symptom management.

This work is especially supportive for people who hve tried insight-based therapy and still feel stuck in their bodies.

Therapy for people who hold it together- but at a cost

Are high-functioning and quietly exhausted

Struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, or over-responsibility

Notice chronic tension, shutdown, or freeze

Have a history of developmental, relational, or complex trauma

Are a mental health professional or a medical provider seeking your own care

Identify as LGBTQ+ and navigate chronic stress or vigilance

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from somatic trauma therapy. Many clients come because their systems have never fully had permission to rest.

A nervous system based approach to therapy

My work is grounded, relational, and paced with care.

Rather than focusing solely on thoughts or behaviors, we attend to how your nervous system learned to survive, and how those patterns show up now- even when they’re no longer serving you.

I integrate advanced training in somatic and trauma-focused therapy, including Compassionate Inquiry, and approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, along with IFS and attachment-oriented and relational frameworks.

Therapy is not about pushing through or “fixing” yourself.

It is about helping your system experience safety, choice, and completion.

Common reasons clients seek therapy

Clients often come to therapy for support with:

Chronic anxiety or overwhelm

People-pleasing and boundary fatigue

Trauma responses that feel “out of proportion” to the present

Burnout and compassion fatigue

Performance anxiety or freeze states

Nervous system dysregulation that doesn’t resolve with insight alone

You don’t need a perfect explanation- we listen together for what your body already knows

What therapy is like with me

Sessions are focused, attuned, and collaborative

We move slowly enough for your nervous system to stay oriented, and precisely enough to create meaninful change.

You will not be rushed, analyzed, or left alone with overwhelm.

Many clients describe this work as:

Regulating rather than activating; deep without being destabalizing

Practical considerations

Virtual therapy for adults residing in California

Licensed Clinical Social Worker #100049

Private-pay practice

Limitied availability to support depth of care

Therapy is not a crisis service

An integrated, trauma-informed approach

Rather than working from a single method, I integrate several somatic and trauma-informed approaches based on what your system needs in the moment.

Somatic and nervous-system based therapy

Compassionate Inquiry

Trauma informed IFS- Internal Family Systems

Brainspotting

Neurofeedback

Somatic Psychedelic Facilitation

These approaches are not used as techniques to “fix” you, but as tools within a relational, regulated therapeutic process.
